Two families, one gothram of good fortune — the story of how Karthik and Divya found their way to the wedding fire.

December 2022

A Margazhi morning

They first met at a Carnatic kutcheri during the Margazhi season in Mylapore — Divya was humming a Thyagaraja kriti Karthik had loved since childhood.

August 2024

Filter coffee & forever

Countless conversations later, over degree kaapi at a little Luz Corner café, they knew. Two engineers, one shared love for old temples and older ragas.

Blessings from both homes

Under the gaze of the family kuladeivam, the elders exchanged tamboolam and set the muhurtham. The malli poo and mango leaves have been waiting ever since.
