What is TDS Return Filing?
Any entity that deducts Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) while making payments — salary, rent, professional fees, contractor payments — must file quarterly TDS returns (e-TDS statements) with the Income Tax Department.
Forms: 24Q (salary payments to employees), 26Q (non-salary payments — rent, professional fees, contractor), 27Q (payments to non-residents). Due dates: Q1 (Apr-Jun): July 31, Q2 (Jul-Sep): October 31, Q3 (Oct-Dec): January 31, Q4 (Jan-Mar): May 31.
TDS returns must reconcile with challans paid in OLTAS (Online Tax Accounting System). Errors in PAN, deductee details, or challan mapping result in demands and prevent deductees from claiming TDS credit in their ITR.
Who Must File TDS Returns?
Why Professional TDS Return Filing?
No Late Fees
Late TDS return: ₹200/day penalty (max = TDS amount). On-time filing = zero penalty.
Form 16/16A Generation
We generate and deliver Form 16 (salary) and Form 16A (non-salary) to your employees/deductees.
Challan Mapping
Incorrect challan mapping is the #1 cause of TDS mismatch notices. We verify every challan via OLTAS before filing.
Correction Filing
Old errors corrected via TRACES correction filing — prevents deductees from facing notices for missing TDS credit.
No Interest Demand
Short deduction, non-deduction, or delayed deposit of TDS attract 1-1.5% monthly interest. We compute correctly and advise.
TRACES Coordination
TRACES portal for Form 16/16A downloads, correction requests, and demand clearance — we handle it all.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 24Q and 26Q?
24Q: TDS on salaries (Sec 192) — filed quarterly, Form 16 generated at year end. 26Q: TDS on non-salary payments — rent (194I), professional fees (194J), contractor (194C), commission (194H), etc. Both are quarterly e-TDS statements.
What if I don't have a TAN?
TAN (Tax Deduction Account Number) is mandatory for any entity deducting TDS. We can apply for TAN as part of our PAN/TAN service (separate engagement). Without TAN, you cannot file TDS returns.
What happens if TDS is not deposited on time?
Interest at 1.5% per month from deduction date to deposit date (Sec 201). Additionally, TDS not deposited is disallowed as an expense in the deductor's P&L — double hit.
Can I get a lower TDS deduction certificate for my vendor?
Yes — vendors can apply to their assessing officer for a lower/nil deduction certificate (Sec 197). If your vendor provides Form 13 / lower deduction certificate, you deduct at the specified rate. We verify and apply the correct rate.
What if a deductee's PAN is invalid in my TDS return?
Invalid PAN deductees are subject to TDS at 20% (Sec 206AA) — even if you deducted at the normal rate, the shortfall becomes a demand. We validate all PANs against ITD before filing.
What does the process look like?
Fill the form → expert calls within 30 minutes → share documents on WhatsApp → we file → you receive certificates / acknowledgements. Zero office visits.
Are there hidden fees beyond the offer price?
No. The offer price covers the full scope listed in the bundle. Government fees (where applicable, like ROC for incorporations) are passed through at actuals — disclosed upfront before you pay.
Rules, rates, and due dates change. We verify against these portals before every filing.
