Ad Account Suspension & Recovery diagnosis first, then one appeal that is actually evidenced
The worst thing you can do with a disabled ad account is appeal immediately. Most advertisers file the same generic request four times in two days, burn through the review queue, and end up with an account that is harder to recover than it was on the first morning. Meta and Google both treat repeated low-quality appeals as a signal in their own right.
What should you do when your ad account is disabled?
Identify which asset was restricted before appealing. On Meta the restriction can sit on the personal account, the business portfolio or the individual ad account, and each has a different fix. Do not file repeated appeals, because that reduces your chances rather than improving them. Fix the underlying cause first, whether that is a landing page, a policy breach, a payment method or an incomplete verification, then submit one appeal that documents what changed. A Meta ad account disabled for 180 days cannot be reinstated, so the clock matters.
- Meta restrictions apply at three levels: personal account, business portfolio, and individual ad account
- A Meta ad account disabled for 180 days can no longer be reinstated
- Google suspends immediately and without warning for circumventing systems violations including cloaking
- Entity name mismatches cause suspensions in every market: GST name in India, VAT and commercial register in the EU, Companies House in the UK, EIN and DBA in the US
- Three failed Google advertiser verification attempts remove the right to appeal permanently
- TikTok runs a rolling 12 month violation window, but permanent bans are irreversible
Recovery is a diagnosis problem before it is an appeal problem. What was actually restricted, the personal profile, the business portfolio, or the single ad account? Was it the ad, the landing page, the payment method, the verification, or something a previous agency did? We work that out first, fix the real cause, and then file one appeal with the evidence attached. Nobody can guarantee reinstatement. What we can change is the quality of the case you put in front of a reviewer.
Is ad account recovery the right move?
Good fit
- Advertisers whose Meta ad account or business portfolio has just been disabled
- Google Ads accounts suspended for circumventing systems, misrepresentation or suspicious payments
- Businesses that inherited a suspension from a previous agency
- Restricted-vertical advertisers who need the replacement account built correctly
- TikTok and Snap advertisers stuck in a rejection loop with no route to a human
- EU advertisers whose delivery collapsed after a targeting or consent change rather than an explicit rejection
Not the right fit
- Accounts disabled for genuinely prohibited products. No appeal fixes a banned category
- Anyone who wants a replacement account bought, rented or farmed rather than built
- Advertisers looking for a guaranteed reinstatement. It does not exist
Common problems we fix
The appeal is the last step, not the first.
Advertisers who recover fastest are the ones who correctly identify what was disabled, fix the real cause, and appeal once. We do not promise reinstatement because the decision is not ours to make.
What you get
The page is scoped around tangible outputs, not vague consulting hours.
What happens after you enquire
A short, visible delivery path keeps the work moving and gives you clear approval points.
Intake, same day
Screenshots, account IDs, the exact restriction notice, and the change log for the 30 days before the disable.
Diagnosis, 48 hours
Which asset is restricted, which policy is most likely cited, and what evidence exists on each side of it.
Remediation, 2 to 4 days
Fix the landing page, pull the offending creative, complete verification, correct billing. The appeal is written after this, not before.
Single appeal filed
One submission, correct channel, evidence attached. Then we wait, because filing again resets nothing and helps nothing.
Outcome and next step
Reinstated, we harden the account. Refused, we execute the rebuild plan on clean infrastructure.
Bizeract versus the usual alternatives
Use this to decide whether this needs a full operating partner or a narrower execution resource.

Book ConsultationQuestions about ad account recovery
No, and neither can anyone else. Reinstatement is a platform decision made by a reviewer or a system we do not control. What we can do is identify the real cause, fix it, and put a properly evidenced case in front of that reviewer once. Agencies advertising guaranteed reinstatement are either selling you a bought account or selling you nothing.
Because a generic appeal filed before anything is fixed is usually auto-rejected, and repeated low-quality appeals are themselves a negative signal. Google states that detected misuse of the appeals function can suspend processing of certain appeals. The reviewer needs to see a changed state, which means the fix has to come first.
Very. A personal account restriction stops you advertising across every business asset you are connected to, so it looks like a total shutdown when the ad accounts themselves may be fine. The fix path runs through identity verification on the personal profile, not through ad account appeals. Getting this diagnosis wrong is the single most common reason recovery stalls.
It covers cloaking, multiple account abuse and false information during advertiser verification. Google enforces it by suspending on detection without a warning sequence, which is why it feels sudden. Recovery requires a full audit of the site and account, removal of whatever triggered it, and documentation of the remediation. It is recoverable, but not quickly and not with a template appeal.
Written diagnosis within 48 hours of receiving account access and the restriction notice. Remediation typically two to four working days depending on how much of the landing page has to change. Appeal filed within five working days of intake. Platform review times are outside anyone's control, and Meta commonly takes 7 to 10 business days.
We move to the rebuild plan, which is included. Clean entity, clean domain, completed verification, correct account structure, and the offending element gone. The point of the rebuild plan is that the replacement account does not repeat the pattern that killed the first one, which is what usually happens when people just open a new account.
Yes. Both have narrower appeal routes than Meta and Google, and both are more often solved by fixing the creative or the landing page than by escalation. TikTok runs a rolling 12 month violation window with escalating consequences, so the number of prior strikes on the account changes what is realistically available.
Yes, and most of this work is international. Suspension mechanics are global, but the likely cause shifts by market. In the EU a collapse in delivery is often the Digital Services Act rules on profiling minors and special categories of data, or a consent management problem, rather than a policy strike. In the UK, gambling operators now have owned social inside the CAP Code. In the US, Special Ad Categories catch advertisers who have read the ad standards and nothing else. We diagnose against the market you actually run in, and invoice in INR, USD, GBP or EUR.
A one-time diagnosis and appeal engagement starts at ₹35,000 or the USD equivalent, including remediation of the landing page and creative. If you want us to run the account after recovery, that moves to a normal management retainer.
